Stench-be gone! Today we are rounding up our 3 best, easiest tips for odor control. Also included are some product recommendations.
- Invest in automatic air fresheners, urinal screens, gel deodorizers. This is the easiest, low maintenance way of keeping odors at bay. When choosing a scent, opt for something natural. Our favorites are mint, lavender and citrus. Any scent that is too potent or fake can turn people off or make a bad odor worse.
- Install Auto Flushers. Did you know that auto flushers automatically flush every 12 hours? Auto flushers are a great way to eliminate odors especially when you and your staff are unavailable to deal with dirty toilets or urinals. Germs that are left lingering in a stuffed toilet or urinal can result in far more than bad odor; i.e., disease, infection, illness. They also use less energy and water than manual flushers and are a lot more affordable than you think.
- Drain Sanitizers/Maintainers. You can place tablet or liquid sanitizer/odor eliminators in floor and sink drains to clean and disinfect. Drain treatments are specifically formulated to kill odor causing bacteria, eliminate build up and maintain the drainage system.
