Happy New Year! As we begin 2020, and reflect back on the 2019 year in business, we are very proud of our accomplishments and thankful for the memories. We are looking forward to the new year as we set our goals high and continue following our motto “Great to work with, Great to work for”. Here are our Top 5 Moments of 2019!
1. Launching our new website– It was a labor of love with designing, researching, and strategically aligning our website to be both modern, and informative for all of our customers. The feedback we have received is very positive! Our plans for 2020 include continuous improvements and the launch of a new resources tab to provide more educational tools!
2. Our companywide charity events with the Salvation Army of Pittsburgh– This year we participated in two great charity drives- Love in a backpack and Treasures for Tots. In recent years, our past charity efforts have been through product donations and monetary support. We had a lot of fun this year changing things up and actually participating fully in different events! In 2020 we plan on doing more companywide charity drives! We are so proud of our compassionate team of employees and their participation and efforts this past year!
3. Retirement celebrations for two long term employees– We had two long term employees retire in 2019 and were able to celebrate them with retirement parties! We thank them for their years of dedication and service and miss their smiling faces, positive attitudes, and work ethic.
4. Launching our Blog, LinkedIn and Social Media platforms– This year Paper Products went social for the first time in our 107-year history and we are never looking back! If you haven’t started following our Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, or our Blog, now is the time to start! We are consistently posting industry news, new product launches, quick tips, company updates and everything in between! Starting January 2020, we will also be launching our own Vimeo Library full of easy to search training tutorials!
5. New product lines and sustainable solutions– In 2019 we worked behind the scenes to diversify our product offering. We added smart, innovative product lines and more sustainable solutions. We are super proud of our new relationships with highly coveted, and award-winning companies, like Spartan Chemical, Eco-Products (Eco-Friendly Disposables), Leibinger Group Coding and Marking Systems (continuous Ink Jet Printers).
